Wanted a biggish one so its 3.5 m X 7m the cheaper kits were going to be 350 and was not happy about quality, the better kits were over 650, this was built for around 240ish. Scaffy bars and mains water pipe. The cover has come from Kays who seem to have risen again (Ebay). I fell over in the mud when fitting the cover, looked like the swamp monster from the black lagoon. Laughing
It now has some sexy retro louvre doors on, ranch style things, that we took off the cupboard leading to Narnia Confused

nah weve spent over a month getting couch grass out, this was the last bit of plot that the guy I used to share it with had. He used to spray it with roundup every year, he wouldint listen about it not working on grass.

Its getting grass seed sown next week by our students, but its ok it going in the oven first to kill it Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Did you build it from any plans David or did you kind of make it up as you went along?

The basic plans are common around here, scaffold poles for in the ground, plastic water pipe for the span then braced with wooden laths. I had Paddy next door doing most of the work as he is a great joiner.

Guy on the plot near me has a huge PT but it gets boiling in there even with one door completely open all the time and half open at the other end so everything in there would cook. I think they might come into their own during the cooler months and over winter when you use the ground inside for growing crops in
