Harry Dodson and Ruth Mott again on Yesterday? It's set in WWII and it's all about the kitchen and garden. I sat and watched it yesterday and it's so relaxing and marvellous. Bliss Very Happy

Also, is anyone watching the Diets that time Forgot with Sir Roy Strong? I've watched the first two episodes and I think it's wonderful and very funny. Some bizarre diets indeed Very Happy

I watched Harry and Ruth Laughing

I've seen every episode hundreds of times before but from the first bars of the opening music I can feel myself relax and a big goofy grin spreading across my face Laughing

I like his Victorian walled garden series too but the war time one is just sublime!
Ruth (I'm sure Wink ) is wearing my nan's apron, cooking in her pots I just know she keeps her drippin' in a chipped enamel dish in the scullery!
And I'm rather tempted to try steamed leek pud anorl!

I just love love love it Laughing

I've not seen it before so bring it on Very Happy I saw some of the Victorian ones and thought they were brilliant

It's like a warm glow innit, and Dodson's voice is like a blanket of chocolate Very Happy I shall light my log burner, sit and watch Harry and Ruth and eat my home made scones and sup tea. Sod the world outside Very Happy
