There is a confirmed case of swine flu at Vikkie's college Shocked

There's one week left till the end of term so the health authority have decided not to close it.
In fact...they have decided not to announce that a student has been confirmed as having it....a member of staff, concerned that Vikkie's disability makes her vulnerable, told me.

Our GP says he will support whatever decision I make.

So. Keep her home? or let her enjoy the end of term celebrations?

I think it has now gone way beyond the point where individual cases can be announced. Other than that, the decision is up to you and between you, your doctor and the college who all know a hell of a lot more than we do.

Does that help? Very Happy

That's a hard choice Confused
If it's in college may have been exposed already and she probably won't appreciate missing the fun. But her health is important too

So what did you decide to do ??? Confused

Our son said one of his colleagues has just been signed off, his childen had both running romping temps. We rang the GP today to seek advice for M and all they said was if he gets any flu symptoms to ring the surgery! Shocked
