....as in fruit trees, got an apple tree in a pot on patio, rescued from Homebase 2 years ago for a £1.00 and a pear tree also a chestnut tree I grew from seed?, last year tree got 3 apples hope for more this year the bloosom looks good, I think the pear is struggling, the cheastnut full of leaf but will not have any fruit for many a year but it looks good.

How lovely ... always wanted a pear tree ... such wonderful blossom. Razz

A quick thought ...your apple might do better if there is a second apple tree in the vacinity as a pollinator!

The apple! was so small and dropped off so I will have to get another to keep her company as you suggested hun. Very Happy

I bought very cheap ones thinking they'd prob. come to nothing.... They gave lovely big apples this year, well, all 5 of them Laughing So i'm hoping for big things next year Cool
If you need more trees and don't want to spend much, don't dismiss Lidl Very Happy

I got some Lidl ones and they're fruiting beautifully, cept the pear which is dead, rabbits nibbled away at the trunk and it died. Mind you only £3.99
The apples I got are just brill Very Happy
