I need to buy or rent a petrol hedge cutter for my lotty but I don't want to get one which weighs and ton cos my OH already did that and it's too heavy for me to lift off the bleepin floor Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes He broke my lightweight one cutting a ruddy gret leylandii hedge with it Evil or Very Mad So what lightweight petrol one would anyone recommend. Lil, do you use one on a regular basis ?

I used a Stihl brushcutter on the plot and that was pretty nifty and light

I'd Google but I fear being deluged with let's say irrelevant info Cool

I don't own one Wards sorry Embarassed I've used a big petrol Stihl one at Knole but it did weigh a ton and it felt like my arms had been pulled out of the sockets by the end of the day Rolling Eyes Decided that hedge cutting was probably not one of the services I'm going to offer to my clients Wink Laughing

I have had a quick look and these seem lighter than most:

the heavier one is electric to use at home, cept I won't be using it cos it's too heavy. Bloody deafening anorl Evil or Very Mad I bought myself a lightweight one which I could easily use but OH knackered it. Oh well no hedge cutting for me, at home that is

Lotty is my problem so I need to cut the hedge but don't want to end up with another useless piece of kit, not if I'm shelling out the dosh, hence I want a lightweight petrol or a battery job, but which one? Sad

That one is 4.7 kg, most weight about 2.2 kg Very Happy
