It's off to the plot with the cucs and squashes this w/e.

So .........................

I have just been cutting up 2 litre. poly drink bottles with pinking shears ... and I read in Garden Which? that if I also spray them with WD40 that should totally fix the slugs .... YAY !! Razz Very Happy

Mine are all sat under bottle cloches and despite the rain this week, they are all bigger. Last year when they weren't under bottles, they had all shrunk to not there anymore within a couple of days.

Mine were big, and healthy, and... they've all been munched into a lacy mess, like last year's Sad Last year was last year, and I put up .. This year i aren't Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

Bit worried about the WD40 ... wouldn't it kill lots of other things too? Sad Maybe even things like hedgehogs & frogs Crying or Very sad

A quick trip to the hairdressers then ... slugs HATE hair ... they can't glide across it !!! Twisted Evil
